LLB students get relief, exam postponed by one week

Nagpur: The examination of first semester of LLB 3yr course has been postponed by seven days. Eralier, the university was to conduct the examination from 20 January. It had issued the time table also. But now the examination will start from 27 January 2018 as per university decision. The students had demanded for postponing the LLB exam.

According to the students due to the centralised admission system the admission got late. They said that admissions took place in month of December. Till now their syllabus has not been completed and still the university has issued the time table. The students of nine LLB colleges in the city had protested.

The students had even submitted a memorandum to the Pro-Vice- Chancellor of Nagpur University Pramod Yewale. The students demanded the postponement of exams by 10 days. First, the students had asked the higher officials of university to postpone the dates but their demand was not met so the students held demonstration in the premises of Nagpur University. After holding discussion the university has now decided to postpone the exams. It has displayed notification on its website.
