Limbo Skating : Shristi creates World Record!

Limbo SkatingNagpur News :  On August 23, 2014 ten-year-old Shristi Sharma became the cynosure of all eyes when she created new Guinness World Record in Limbo Skating.

Hundreds of spectators witnessed her commendable feat when she successfully drove on roller skates underneath 16.5 cm horizontal poles (11 in number) without touching it. In the process she broke the earlier record of 23 cm created by a Chennai lad Madvin Deva in June 2014.

As soon as she created new record, the atmosphere became emotional. Her proud parents as well as for spectators burst into jubilation. Shristi started her campaign with 19 cm height in first attempt followed by 18 cm and 17cm. That was enough for the little girl to create the record. But the bold Srishti had different things in her mind and decided to go for 16.5 cm. which she completed effortlessly. Her father Dharmendra Sharma who is a driver in WCL literally became speechless when his daughter achieved the rare feat.

Certificate just a formality
Shristi has already created the world record. Now to avail the certificate from Guinness World Record authorities has become just a formality. Video recording and photographs of the event will be dispatched to GWR authorities. Once they approve the record, Shristi will get certificate from them.
