Lenovo CEO goof-off: accidentally leaks images of next gen Moto 360 smartwatch

In what appears like an accidental disclosure of the upcoming Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch, CEO of Lenovo- new parent company of Motorola, Yang Yuanqing, posted an image on Chinese social media site Weibo, showing a number of smartwatches in various states of assembly.

The first Motorola Moto 360 was rolled out last year, comprising stainless steel body and round display with futuristic features yet traditional in appearance.

A report on HotHardware noted that the image shows the new Moto 360 adopts the similar traditional, exposed-lug design making it customisable with a variety of straps. The smartwatch also sports a ‘flat tire’ display, alike its predecessor.

Last year’s Moto 360 Android watch houses its ambient light sensor and display driver in the crescent-shaped cutout at the bottom of the display which is the most criticised design aspect of the smartwatch.

The Moto 360 smartwatch was launched in India for a price of Rs 17,999.

The new Moto 360 adopts a traditional, exposed-lug design making it customisable with a variety of straps. It retains the 'flat tire' display from its predecessor.
