Lava Flair Z1 launches in India at Rs 5699

Lava has introduced a new affordable smart-phone in the market dubbed Lava Flair Z1 at a price of Rs 5699 in India. The device will be available in national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and exclusively on Snapdeal from July 30. It will be available in black and white color variants.

In terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. Features included are HD recording, grid feature, photo timer, HDR mode and more.

The smart-phone includes an inbuilt storage of 8GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro-SD card. In terms of connectivity, the Lava Flair Z1 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS and Bluetooth. The Android Lollipop powered smart-phone is backed by a 2000 mAh Li-on battery. The company claims that the Lava Flair Z1 is rated to deliver up to 15 hours 30 minutes of talk time on 2G networks and 9 hours 40 minutes talk time on 3G.

In the past, the Lava introduced the Iris Alfa L at Rs 8,000 in India. In terms of specifications, the Lava Iris Alfa L sports a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes equipped with an 8MP autofocus PureCel rear camera along with LED flash. It sports a 2MP front-facing camera as well.

In terms of connectivity, the smart-phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and USB 2.0. It includes a 3,000mAh battery and the company claims that the battery delivers up to 12 days of standby time (with single sim) and up to 13 hours 15 minutes of talk time (3G).
