Nagpur News : A gang of five thieves was arrested Wednesday night when they were preparing for a theft in Lakadganj area. The arrested thieves are Ravi alias Makdya Ratan Borkar (23), a resident of Indora, Barakholi; Sachin Sambhaji Todsam (30), a resident of Kushi Nagar; Mohd Wasim Mohd Salim (22), a resident of Mominpura; Ghanshyam Dinesh Gupta (20), a resident of Gaddigodam; and Rahul Anil Gavai (24), a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Control Wadi.
As per information, a team of Lakadganj police were on patrolling duty when the cops noticed these five youths at Sadar Vallabhbhai ground, in front of Kachhiwisa, Satnami layout and suspected their movements. The cops approached the youths and demanded an answer o f the whereabouts. On being suspicious, the cops checked the youths and recovered a sword, Hattimar knife, dagger, iron rod, and nylon rope. On being harshly asked, the youths spilled the beans and confessed that they were planning a theft in the area.
Cops have taken all the five youths into their custody and registered an offence under Sections 399 read with sub section 4+25 of the IPC.
