Kishore Tiwari hails budget as farmers gain, says will bring smile on ryots faces

Nagpur: Arun Jaitely has taken extra efforts to bring smiles on the face of farmers by announcing Minimum Support Price (MSP) more than 50 per cent of the cost of production in other words, one and a half times of the cost of their production. This is a historic decision which will help in doubling the income of the farmers, said Late Vasantrao Naik Sheti Sawalamban Mission President Kishore Tiwari.

Due to this decision farmers will benefit in the production of Cotton, Soyabean, pigeon peas (Toor). This will help in improving the financial condition of farmers, he added.

Kishore Tiwari said that the Vasantrao Naik Sheti Sawalamban Mission had been reminding the government every now and then about MSP more than 50 per cent of the cost of production. Jaitely announced Rs 11 lakh crores crop loan. The farmers will really benefit as a large chunk of amount will come to Maharashtra. For the rural development there is provision of Rs 14.34 lakh crores which will help in developing rural area.

Kishore Tiwari further said that the biggest health scheme in the world has been announced which will benefit the poor, farmers and middle class people as they get treatment upto Rs 5 lakh free. This will help nearly 50 crores people. Besides this one medical college for every three districts, 1.50 lakh health centres which will be beneficial for everybody, hoped Tiwari.

The business connected with the agriculture will grow as there is a big financial provision. The farmers can form a cluster and get into agriculture business, Tiwari felt.
