Senior Corporator of Bahujan Samaj Party Kishore Gajbhiye on Saturday assumed the post of Party’s Group Leader in Nagpur Municipal Corporation in a programme held at Badminton Court of Central Office in Civil Lines. Deputy Mayor Munna Pokulwar presided over the programme. Others who were present on the occasion include BSP’s State Unit President Vilas Garud, Shiv Sena Group Leader Sheetal Gharat, Muslim League Leader Aslam Khan, outgoing BSP Group Leader Murlidhar Meshram, District BSP President Vishwas Raut, NMC’s Weaker Section Committee Chairperson Savita Sangole, Ahmed Qadar, Dr Ramesh Janbandhu, Congress Corporator Bhavna Lonare, RPI (Athawale) City President Raju Bahadure and other prominent persons.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Suresh Mane, BSP National General Secretary, said that Kishore Gajbhiye as BSP Group Leader will facilitate in resolving various problems being faced by citizens. Dr Mane expressed confidence that the long-pending issue of memorials of Dr Ambedkar and Shahu Maharaj in NMC will now be sorted out by Kishore Gajbhiye. Similarly, the burning problems being faced by NMC employees will also see solutions coming out with Gajbhiye as BSP Group Leader, said Dr Mane.
Deputy Mayor Pokulwar, terming Kishore Gajbhiye as firebrand and studied Corporator who strived hard for resolving problems, congratulated him for his new assignment.
