Nagpur: In a tragic incident, a one-and-half year old girl died after consuming mosquito repellent liquid accidentally at her house in Sakkardara area on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Riddhi Dinesh Chaudhary, resident of Plot No. 1109, Ashirvad Nagar, Sakkardara.
According to police, Riddhi was playing in her house around 12.30 pm on Sunday. While playing, Riddhi accidentally put the mosquito repellent liquid bottle in her mouth. As her condition deteriorated, her parents rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and she was admitted in Ward No. 50. However, Riddhi died around 3 pm while undergoing treatment.

Sakkardara PSI Dangore, based on a medical report provided by GMCH, registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
