Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Kedarnath is all set to hit theatres this Friday, December 7. This is Sara’s debut film and the young actor has already left everyone amazed with her performance. Director Abhishek Kapoor hosted a special screening today for a few industry friends of his.
The trailer of the movie, which was released a few weeks back, set the mood for the romantic tale based on the tragic floods of Uttarakhand, the songs did wonders and garnered huge numbers.
Janhvi Kapoor who recently made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak was seen at the screening with her sister Khushi Kapoor. Director Abhishek was also spotted with his wife Pragya. Chunky Panday and his daughter Ananya Panday also made it to the screening and posed for the paparazzi. Television actor Prachi Shah came to watch the film with her husband Vishwaas Paandya. Kartik Aryan also made his appearance. Ishaan Khatter who was Janhvi’s co-star in Dhadak also made it to the screening with his mother.
Kedarnath is an eternal love story set in the backdrop of the flash floods that wrecked the temple town in June of 2013. The deluge, that took the lives of over a hundred thousand people, is a powerful backdrop for this romantic tale. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, this will be his second collaboration with Sushant after Kai Po Che.
Kedarnath is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor and is slated to hit the big screens on December 7, 2018. It also stars Nitish Bharadwaj, Alka Amin, Sonali Sachdev, Pooja Gor, and Nishant Dahiya.
