A day after the news of the star couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan undergoing the sex determination of their expected child broke out, the couple jumped to defend and readily denied any such development.
There were reports that they got a sex determination test done while vacationing in London recently. Buzz is, it’s a boy for the nawab and his begum. The 45-year-old actor already has two children — daughter Sara and son Ibrahim — from his previous wife, Amrita Singh.
“The report is completely baseless and the couple strongly denies any such incident. There was no such discussion with any doctor in London and the report is purely a figment of someone’s imagination,” their spokesperson said in a statement in Mumbai.
“Kareena and Saif are both mature adults and are above all this. We would like to request everyone not to unnecessary sensationalise a private issue.’ Saif Ali Khan confirmed his wife’s pregnancy on July 2 in a statement which read, “My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience.”
