A few months back, Kangana Ranaut was extremely excited about her Indo-French project Divine Lovers. Sai Kabir who directed Kangs in Revolver Rani had approached her for the role and she had given her nod. Only to opt out later.
Kangana decided to walk out of the project after she felt that Irrfan Khan’s role was bigger than hers in the film. That left Kabir in a mess. But now, the director has finally found a replacement to Kangana.
While Kangana has already landed in a legal soup following her bitter battle with Hrithik Roshan, this is yet another blow to the reigning Queen of Bollywood. Why? Guess who has replaced her in the film. Zareen Khan! Yes, now it will be Zareen and Irrfan who will play Kabir’s Divine Lovers.
“She (Zareen) fit the bill perfectly as we wanted a girl with Pathani looks. The film is an adventure comedy and shoot starts in September,” Kabir said in a statement.
