Jiya Thakur Declared As The Winner Of DID Li’l Masters Season 4

After weeks of entertaining the audience and leaving the viewers with anticipation about who will walk away with the trophy, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters Season 4 drew to a close this weekend, announcing Jiya Thakur as this season’s winner amidst much fan-fare and celebration. Jiya, who was among the five finalists that include AP Rockers, Maan Amit, Urva Bhavsar and Taman Gamnu, was presented the Dance India Dance trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 5 lakhs, while contestants Urva Bhavsar and Taman Gamnu were announced as the first and second runners-up respectively.

DID Lil Masters 4 was judged by masters Chitrangada Sen, Siddharth Anand, Marzi Pestonji, however, Chitrangada was later replaced by choreographer-director Farah Khan. The show was hosted by TV actors Jay Bhanushali and former India’s Best Dramebaaz contestant Tammana Dipak. The Grand Finale not only witnessed some stunning performances from the finalists but the presence of dancer-choreographer Shantanu Maheshwari.

DID Li’l Masters finale definitely was an evening to remember with some stunning performances from the finalists, Shantanu and host Jay Bhanushali, who performed on Ranveer Singh’s Binte Dil from the film Padmaavat. Comedian Ali Asgar also made his presence felt during the finale.

On winning the trophy, Jiya, in a statement to Mumbai Live, said, “I am feeling very excited. Today my hard work has paid off. I am thankful to my mentor Vaishnavi Didi who was standing beside me throughout my journey. I was a bit nervous at the time of winner announcement. Initially, they announced the names of the contestants who were on the fifth and fourth position and then after a short break Jay Bhaiya announced my name as the winner. Vaishnavi Didi and I were overwhelmed; we started crying on the stage.” Thanking all her fans Jiya further added, “I am grateful to all the people who have supported and voted for me.”
