Janeau Ceremony that perfectly blends trend with tradition!

It was the occasion where religious tradition met with the hip and happening trend. A Janeau ceremony was performed at a city hotel where renowned advocate Shyam Dewani got along with the guests at the Janeau ceremony of his son Sahil Dewani. Amidst, the modern ethos rooted deep into the tradition, Sahil was all on his own as it is considered in the religion that after a ‘thread ceremony’ the guy is half married, and is ready for getting married.

Supported by all the party hues and grand get–together, it was the moment to cheer and remember. Sahil, who is not really a social freak, at the event enjoyed and felt special about it, an attire of a cream and orange coloured Dhoti Kurta complimenting his joy. The guests were welcomed, Panditji carried forward the rituals with Sahil gracefully, after which he was blessed by the guests gradually.

The most commendable part was when celebrity guests Roop Kumar Rathod with Reewa Rathod arrived at the do! Mesmerising singing performances by Reewa stole the show. She commenced with narrating Shlokas which were followed by Bollywood songs like ‘Mai Toh Evei Evei’ and ‘Chammak Challo’. The crowd gazed and enjoyed her presence, when cousins and friends, along with Sahil shook a leg on the foot tapping numbers.

The idea of sending swift e-invitations to the guests was indeed unique, which consisted of an album of Sahil’s childhood clicks and the background music to which said, “It was great growing up with you guys and spending the best moments of our lives..so please join us for our celebration.” In Sahil’s voice.
