Nagpur: Israeli Consul General David Akov on Friday paid a goodwill visit to Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) where he was briefed on various projects being undertaken by the civic body.
The Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar apprised the Consul General about projects such as the proposed development of Smart City, Nag River, 24X7 water supply scheme, waste water treatment plant, etc. The Israeli Envoy was shown a power-point presentation on Smart City Project and City Surveillance Project.
Appreciating the projects of NMC, David Akov assured that the Israeli Government is making all out efforts on extending assistance and cooperation to NMC over technical expertise. He also hinted that he will be visiting again for detailed discussion over various other vital issues.
The Israeli Consul General David Akov was accompanied by Press and Information Officer of Consulate General in Mumbai Anay Joglekar.
