Nagpur: Is Amit Shah, the BJP President, miffed with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari over a reason or two? Well, a pertinent development suggests Shah is annoyed with the Nagpur MP. The BJP chief, who has “firmly” said that it would not be possible for him to attend the birthday bash of Gadkari the other day, arrived in the city on Monday to attend the last day of the annual training camp of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Shah even met the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

It is pertinent to recall that the BJP chief had conveyed to Gadkari that it will not be possible for him to attend the grand birthday celebrations held on Saturday. Shaha had to attend various programmes organised to mark three years of Modi Government, it was told.
Of late, BJP leadership is holding a spate of meetings over the post of President of India. Shah came to Nagpur and met Bhagwat in this connection, it is learnt.
