Nagpur: The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is organizing a day-long John Kapoor” Prof. M.L. Khorana Memorial Seminar of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) on November,21 during the National Pharmacy Week, 2015 jointly with IPA, Nagpur Local branch on the theme of “Excellence in Quality to Evolve Global Challenges”.

The Seminar is organised on the eve of Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Department.The objective of the Seminar is to enlightened the Pharmacy professionals about the global challenges to achieve excellence in quality in order to benefit Nation and Society at large.

The Chief Guest for Inauguration of the Seminar will be Dr Rao V.S.V.Vadlamudi, President of Indian Pharmaceutical Association and the Guest of Honour will be Kaushik Desai, Gen. Secretary ,IPA and Amin Nagani, Ex President, Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.

In the first session Ravleen Khurana, MD, Nitika Pharmaceuticals Pvt.Ltd. and Dr Sudhir Umathe, Principal, Kamala Nehru College of Pharmacy, Butibori will express their view on subject of theme. In the second session Ashok Giri, Ex Joint Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration and Dr. A.V. Chandewar, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University will addressed the gathering.

The Coordinator of the Seminar is Prof. M.R.Tajne and Dr.N.J.Gaikwad, Head of Department.
