International Anti Corruption Day Celebrated

Nagpur. Arvind indo public school,Heti celebrated INTERNATIONAL Anti Corruption Day in a special assembly conducted by the school. The aims and objectives behind this celebration is to raise awareness. The theme of the international Anti Corruption Day 2022 is UNCAC at 20:Uniting the World against Corruption. This year,the day seeks to highlight the crucial link between anti Corruption and peace,security and development.

This day is organized by the United Nations Development Program. Principal Rajendra Mishra highlighted the significance of the day. The central vigilance commission was initially set up through Resolution No 24/7/64 AVD dated 11 February 1964 of the government of India,on the recommendations of a committee on prevention of Corruption formed under the chairmanship of Shri K Santhanam. We define Corruption as the abuse of entrusted power for private gain.

Corruption erodes trust,weakens democracy,hampers economic development and further exacerbates inequality,poverty,social division and the environmental crisis. Ms.Snehal Choudhary also guided students. Some students also shared their views. Dr.Ashish Deshmukh,Acting President of Arvindbabu Deshmukh Pratisthan appreciated the efforts of the School. Ex AGRICULTURE Minister Shri Ranjeetbabu Deshmukh also appreciated the efforts of the School and greeted all the participants.
