Interesting cases presented in clinical meeting of Association of Surgeons Nagpur

Total of four interesting cases were presented in the Clinical Meeting of  Association of Surgeons, Nagpur held at Hotel Pride, Wardha Road, on 13th of January, 2016.  Dr. Abhoy Kumar Sinha, Past President, presided over the meeting while Dr. Sunil Lanjewar, MMC observer, was Guest of Honour. At the out set Dr. Prashant Rahate, President made welcome speech.

First case was Presented by Dr. Prasad Bansod of NKPSIMS on “ Acute Abdomen : Diagnostic dilemma”  while “Laparoscopic Management of recurrent  appendicitis and Port Hernia was presented by Dr. Prashant Bhowate,  Dr. Prashant Rahate presented “ Thoracoscopic bilateral sympathetic Ganglion ablation for chronic severe pancreatic  pain “ while last case was presented by Ankit Maheshwari on “ Post corrosive  Tracheoesophageal Fistula”

What were the challenges and how tricky situations were overcome were discussed by the presenters and open discussions and debates was held with many senior surgeons with their opinion based on vast experience.

MMC had granted accreditation to the activity and granted one point. CME was attended by 60 members, and post graduate students.
