Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Orange City Water have planned to interconnect 700 existing line with newly laid line on Institute of Science College Road to Morris Colloge- T- Point Road on September 8, 2017.
It must be mentioned here while construction of new road a bridge has been constructed between Institute of Science College Road to Morris Colloge T Point Road and the existing 700 mm dia main supply water pipeline has been shifted.
The interconnection work will start on September 8, 2017 at 9 am and will require almost 18-hours i.e till Sept 9, 2017 at 3 pm time.
Following ESR’s/Areas will remain affected during shutdown work:
Wanjari Nagar (New) ESR: Wanjari Nagar, Kukde Lay Out, Kausalya Nagar, New Babhulkheda, Joshiwadi, Old Babhulkheda, Vasant Nagar & Vilas Nagar.
Wanjari Nagar (Old) ESR: Raguji Nagar, Somwari Peth, Tukdoji Nagar, Police Quarters, Ayurvedic Lay Out, Ayurvedic Collage, Vishwakarma Nagar.
Hanuman Nagar (Budhwar Bazzar) ESR: Hanuman Nagar, Chandan Nagar, PTS Quarters, Mahesh Colony, Vakil Peth, Hazare Wadi, Budhwari Bazaar, Professors Colony, Somwari Quarters, Reshimbagh, Siraspeth.
Reshimbagh ESR: Juni (Old) Shukrawari , Labhan Tanda, Bhagat Colony, Mahavir Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Gayatri Nagar slum, Om Nagar, Anand Nagar, Sudam Puri, Nehru Nagar, June (Old) Nandanvan.
NMC-OCW has appealed people from affected areas to store sufficient water storage for use. Water supply through TANKERS shall also be not possible in these affected areas during shutdown period.
