Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists Nagpur City Branch conducted Dr. Malti Phadke Intercollegiate Anaesthesiology PG Quiz at VSPM Dental College, NKPSIMS, Nagpur in which teams of PG students of Anaesthesia from medical colleges of all over Vidarbha like GMC, IGGMC, NKPSIMS, Nagpur , JNMC, Sawangi, MGIMS, Sewagram participated .
The Judges for competition were Dr. S.P. Manjrekar , Prof. & Head, Anaesthesiology, IGGMC, Nagpur and renowned senior anaesthesiologist of the town, Dr. S.K. Deshpande. The quiz masters were Dr. Soma Cham and Dr. Amrusha Chouksey . The event started with welcome address by Dr. Sunita Lawange, President , ISA-NCB who informed audience about forth coming activities like WALKATHON on 26th August and ICU CME on 2nd September.
President expressed her gratitude to Dr. Malti Phadke who started this quiz and is sponsorer for this Perennial ISA -NCB event. Dr. Lawange thanked Dr. Anjali Bhure and Dr. Shubhada Deshmukh , Prof. & Head, Anaesthesiology , NKPSIMS and Dr. Mrs. Radke Respected Dean, VSPM Dental college for allowing us to conduct the quiz in their institute.
The event was attended by around 100 members . The organising team included Dr. Dilip Wasnik as scorer , Dr. Ketaki Marodkar as time keeper Dr. Ritesh Borkar as buzzer referee. Dr. Ketaki Marodkar worked hard for this event as a project coordinator.
The winner was TEAM GMC, NAGPUR which comprised of Dr. Jubin T.J., Dr. Karen Henriques , Dr. Pooja Mamtani and runners up was TEAM IGGMC, NAGPUR , the participants were Dr. Shailesh Chouksey, Dr. Priya Gole and Dr. Usha D. S. . Quiz was enjoyable, with exiting questions and well planned rounds including audience questions which raised the bar of enthusiasm. The certificates of participation were given to all participants and winner and runner up teams were given trophies.
