Infrastructure Improvement Project by SNDL
Nagpur:
On Thursday, July 14, 2016, SNDL initiated its ‘Infrastructure Improvement Project’ which is one of the most eagerly awaited project for this financial year by the franchisee. This project, which is being undertaken in various phases, saw the formal bhoomipujan being conducted at a spot near Dinshaw factory at the hands of MLA Sudhakarrao Deshmukh in a very modest ceremony. The work to be completed as first task under Phase 1 of the project would be conversion of approx. 5 KMs of overhead HT+LT lines to underground cable from Gorewada Sub-station uptil Indrayani Nagar pump house while passing through Gittikhadan Square.

SNDL expressed hope that this conversion project would help in strengthening the network as it would reduce the outages experienced during extreme winds and rain or other natural calamities. Consumers of areas such as Borgaon, Dinshaw Factory, Gittikhadan Square, Gorewada Square, Prashant Nagar, Patel Nagar, Ekta Nagar, Dashrath Nagar and other adjoining areas would thus be largely benefitted by this improvement task.

With Phase 1 of the said project being rolled out today, SNDL has assured that it would initiate the tasks which are a part of this overall network improvement project in other areas of Nagpur at very short intervals here onwards.

Apart from MLA Sudhakarrao Deshmukh, delegates from the distribution franchisee and large number of consumers were present during the ceremony.
