Nagpur: Two IndiGo flights were diverted to Bhopal and Raipur due to bad weather in the Second Capital of the State, causing significant delays for passengers. Passengers who were scheduled to arrive in the city in the afternoon had to wait until 6:00 to 6:30 pm to reach their destination.
The first flight that was diverted was IndiGo 6E 6753, which was traveling from Bangalore to Nagpur. It departed from Bangalore around 1:30 pm and was scheduled to land in Nagpur at 3:05 pm. However, due to the bad weather, it was diverted to Bhopal. After a delay of several hours, it finally arrived in Nagpur from Bhopal at 6:12 pm.
The second flight, IndiGo 6E 202, was flying from Mumbai to Nagpur. It departed from Mumbai at 1:56 pm with a delay of 10 minutes, but it was also diverted to Raipur due to the bad weather. After a short wait, it took off for Nagpur at 5:10 pm and finally arrived in Nagpur at 6:35 pm.
Passengers expressed their frustration at the delays caused by the diversions, but acknowledged that the airline had no control over the weather. IndiGo officials assured passengers that the airline was doing everything possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by the delays.
