Nagpur: An Indigo flight traveling from Bangalore to Patna was forced to make an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport today following a severe medical emergency involving a passenger. Mr. Ingith Prashant began displaying alarming symptoms, including severe shaking, loss of consciousness, and body stiffness, prompting the flight crew to divert the aircraft to Nagpur for urgent medical intervention.
Upon arrival, Mr. Prashant was quickly transported to the Emergency Department at KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals in Nagpur. His companion alerted Mr. Aejaz Shami, DGM of Branding & Communications at KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals, about the emergency situation.
Dr. Rupesh Bokade, Consultant in Emergency Medicine at KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals, diagnosed Mr. Prashant with a seizure disorder. His initial vital signs show an SpO2 level of 92%, and he is receiving 2 liters of oxygen. Further tests, including an MRI, have been recommended, and Mr. Prashant will be monitored closely by a neurophysician.
