Nagpur: After the rains played spoil sport in Bengaluru and robbed India of a possible victory in the Second Test against South Africa, the Indian cricket team was seen sweating it hard at VCA Jamtha Stadium in Nagpur during practice sessions. After scuttling South Africa at the paltry score of 214 in their first innings on the opening day of the second test at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Viraat Kohli-led India had smelled a certain victory and go up 2-0 in the 4-Test Series. But the Rain God had different designs that saw remaining four days washed out without a ball being bowled. However, in Nagpur, the atmosphere is different with clear skies and bright sunshine greeting both the teams. On Monday, the Indian team arrived at VCA Stadium Jamtha and slogged during practice sessions under the watchful eyes of Team Director Ravi Shastri and other coaches. The players huddled and planned strategies in between the practice sessions. The pitch in Nagpur is likely to be a sporting one and the match exciting. The Third Test will be played on November 25-29 with the prospects of a sell-out.
