Nagpur: An Air Veterans Rally will be held at 3 Base Repair Depot, Air Force at Chandigarh on 16 May 2015. The rally will be organised to address various issues affecting Air Veteran community with regard to pension, Non Effective benefits and post retirement welfare. The rally will be inaugurated by Air Marshal BBP Sinha AVSM, Air Officer-in-charge Administration.
The Guest of Honour at the function will be Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, HQ Maintenance Command, IAF. Air Vice Marshal Praveen Bhatt VSM, SAASO, HQ MC, Air Vice Marshal AK Sharma VSM, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Accts & AV), Air Commodore PM Puranik VSM, Air Officer Commanding, 3 BRD and Air Commodore Rajan Sood VSM, Principal Director Air Veterans will also be present at rally.
Various organizations like the Offices of CGDA, PCDA (Pensions) Allahabad, CDA (RK Puram), Dy CDA (Subroto Park) and a large numbers of Banks along with Indian Air Force Benevolent Association, Air Force Group Insurance Society will participate in the rally. A large number of Air Veterans, IAF Pensioners and their Next of Kins will attend the rally.
