Nagpur: Students of Blind Relief Association in Nagpur have been turning the tide of fortune by learning bamboo craft skills in order to become self reliant. The visually impaired under the guidance of in-charge of Bamboo Crafts Association and other supporting staff are creating magnificent art works allowing them to earn a decent living and make for themselves a suitable name in the society.

However, careful supervision is required while teaching the sightless.

An iron cutting tool has to be used to polish the rough ends of the bamboo sticks. Hence, only the partially impaired are given the permission to deal with such supplements.
