In Kamala Mills fire case, Yug Tuli, co-owner of Mojo Bistro sent to police custody till January 20 by Bhoiwada Court

Mumbai: Yug Tulli, one of the owners of Mojo Bistro has been sent to judicial custody till January 20 by Bhoiwada court on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, Tulli, ​another absconding in the Kamala Mills compound fire case, owner of Mojo’s Bistro, Yug Tulli had surrendered before the Mumbai Police. Last week, police seized the car of Tuli.

The car was parked outside his grandfather’s residence in Hyderabad. A team of Mumbai police has been camping in the city trying to track down him.

The 28-year-old Nagpur-based businessman was reportedly seen in the CCTV footage at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.

Tuli, a co-owner of the Mojo’s Bistro, reportedly fled Mumbai just hours after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its report that the fire began at Mojo’s.

Earlier, all the absconding three owners ‘1 Above’ pub, the other restaurant that was engulfed in flames on December 29, were arrested by Mumbai police. Kripesh Sanghvi and his brother Jigar were arrested by the Mumbai Police from Andheri on Wednesday and Abhijeet Mankar was picked from Mumbai’s Bandra on Thursday morning. All of them have been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The other owner of Mojo’s Bistro, Yug Pathak, was arrested by Mumbai police on January 6, and his anticipatory bail plea hearing was adjourned by the Mumbai Sessions Court.
