NAGPUR: An important meeting of Maharashtra Mayors’ Conference has been called on 23 June 2018 at the residence of Mayor of Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation Mr Vishwanath Mahadeshwar. A letter informing about the meeting and also inviting all 27 Mayors to it has been issued by Mr Mahadeshwar, who is also the President of Maharashtra Mayors’ Conference.
The meeting will pass the expenditure incurred on the previous meeting held in Goa. The meeting will also announce the name of Vice-President of the Conference. The meeting will be presided over by Mr Vishwanath Mahadeshwar.
Those, who are expected to attend the meeting, include working president of All India Local Bodies Organization Ranjeet Chavan, Jalgaon Mayor Lalit Kolhe, Thane Mayor Meenakshi Shinde, Navi Mumbai Mayor Jaywant Sutar, Kalyan-Dombivli Mayor Vinita Rane, Ulhasnagar Mayor Vidya Nirmale, Bhiwandi-Nizampur Mayor Javed Dalvi, Meera-Bhayander Mayor Dimple Mehta, Nasik Mayor Ranjana Bhansi, Malegaon Mayor Shekh Safi, Pimpri-Chinchvad Mayor Nitin Kajle, Pune Mayor Mukta Tilak, Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Mayor Harun Sikalgar, Solapur Mayor Shobha Banshetti, Kolhapur Mayor Swati Yewluje, Aurangabad Mayor Nandkumar Ghodle, Nanded-Waghala Mayor Sheela Bhavre, Akola Mayor Vijay Agrawal, Amravati Mayor Sanjay Narwane, Nagpur Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Vasai-Virar Mayor Rupesh Jadhav, Latur Mayor Suresh Pawar, Ahmednagar Mayor Surekha Kadam, Dhule Mayor Kalpana Mahale, Parbhani Mayor Meena Varpudkar, Chandrapur Mayor Anjali Ghotkar and Panvel Mayor Kavita Chouthmal.
