Guest lecture organized by NSS on Social Awareness at GNIET
Nagpur: A guest lecture on Social Awareness under the NSS unit was organized at Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering & Technology (GNIET), Nagpur. The programme began with lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest Ravindra Joshi, CMD GNI Navneet Singh Tuli, MD GNI Tanpreet Kaur Tuli, CEO GNI Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava, Principal GNIET Dr. N V Deshpande, Principal GNIT Dr. N M Kanhe followed by Gurbani.
Ravindra Joshi, shared his vivid experiences about social awareness and enlightened the students through his speech which included various happenings about the social media, world and social drives which are required for the betterment of our society, his area of concern was the illiteracy rate in our country and how we can overcome it.
CMD Navneet Singh Tuli also shared his opinion about social awareness, stating its importance and how the institute follows and participates in various activities and encouraged the students to be socially active and take part in noble causes for the upliftment of our country. The event was attended by the students and faculties in large number and gave an enthusiastic response to the activity. The event was hosted by Dr Kirti Dorshetwar.
