Nagpur: In a significant operation, the Bajaj Nagar Police raided an illegal hookah parlour at the Ghost of Heaven Cafe in Bajaj Nagar Square early Wednesday morning. The raid led to charges being filed against the cafe’s management.
Acting on a tip-off, police officers conducted the raid at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. Several young individuals were discovered smoking hookah on the premises, which is against the law.

The police have registered a case against the café’s manager, Prashant Pradeep Bharti, 36, a resident of Khaparkheda. Hookahs and related equipment were confiscated as evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
