As they rightly say that one cannot escape from the law for a long time. On the orders of Police Commissioner S P Yadav, a famous goon identified as Rahul alias Chaptya Chandrabhan Meshram aged 30 years and a resident of Lakhadganj area was arrested and sent to Nagpur Central jail.
There are many cases of attacking with lethal weapons, beating up people, abusing with vulgar language and many other serious crimes are registered against Rahul alias Chaptya Chandrabhan Meshram.
A case has been registered against the accused under sections of the Bombay Police Act. It is said that the accused Chaptya is dreaded criminal. In spite of repeated warning, he did not adhere to the warnings. Under the guidance of Deputy Police Commissioner (Crime) Deepali Masirkar, Police Inspector Sawarkar and his staff arrested the accused and took necessary action.
