University thinking of taking special examination of banned college students

Nagpur News : The banned college students who were barred from appearing for their 1st year examination this year may get a chance to appear for special examination. After the State Government’s order to the Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur university (RTMNU) to regularize and conduct special examination of these students. In the academic councils meeting on Monday, June 23,this issue was discussed at length to find a way out for accommodating these students, the meeting got adjourned for June 26.

According to information it seems that the university would abide by the council’s decision as university administration was run by its statutory bodies and will submit the government order and university’s view before Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday, June 23.

During the meeting on Monday the Controller of Examinations (COE) moved a note of dissent on the special examination. The chair took the cognizance of it.

Now the final decision on the special examination of these students will unfold on the next AC meeting scheduled on June 26, wherein all the rules and provisions of taking the special examination will be discussed.
