ICSE Class 10th result 2014 of CISCE declared

icse-board-10th-resultNagpur News: The results of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination 2014 for Class 10th, conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) are declared on Wednesday (May 21) at 3 pm on the official website.

The candidates can view their results using their roll numbers by visiting the website: http://www.cisce.org/ or can also get the results straight on their mobiles via SMS service. To subscribe for results, candidates may send the key words — ICSE 1234567 (Seven Digit Unique ID) to the following numbers: 09248082883/ 51818/ 56263/58888/5676750.

The 2014 ICSE Class 10th examinations were held from March 3 to March 29 2014 at 2,500 centers in English medium only, and the answer papers were assessed in by and large 650 centralised centers.

The written examination is conducted in 23 Indian languages while remaining are foreign languages to make a total of 64 subjects. The Board has set criteria that students appearing for ICSE examination for Class 10 need to get through in minimum of 6 subjects. Among the 6 subjects, candidates must pass in English, any Second Language and History, Civics, Geography (mandatory subjects) and any 3 optional subjects in order to get pass and promotion certificate from ICSE Board.

School and regular students take the exam only, while private candidates are not eligible to appear for this examination.

Principals can download the result tabulation by logging into the ‘Careers’ portal of the Council by using the Principal’s login ID and Password. The tabulation is also available on the registered email IDs of the schools. Schools may also approach the helpdesk at 022-67226106 for obtaining an additional copy of the tabulation through email.

The evaluation process for a substantial part of the ICSE exam has been done online this year in order to make the examination and evaluation processes transparent, accurate and time saving for the education authorities.
