Nagpur: Motorbike enthusiasts witnessed some high octane and adrenaline pumping action at the IBW Chai & Pakoda Rides on December 28, 2014. This was mainly a motorsport event involving motorbikes and cars of all kinds which ranged from vintage motorbikes and cars to the latest super-bikes.
Even as the mercury took a dip in the morning with 6.5 degrees, the enthusiasts from the city, Chandrapur, Wardha, Yavatmal and neighboring cities assembled at Motel Sunny, Jamb on NH7, which around 70 kilometers from the city rising the heat to a visible high.
Many motorsport enthusiasts gathered at the rendezvous point to witness bikers from neighboring cities and their bikes or vehicles and competing against each other on the looks, power, cost etc.
The cheering crowd, noise of the powerful engines caught the attention of Nagpur Today.
The Chai Pakoda ride named by IBW, is an event where the enthusiast and passionate bikers / riders meet and share their experiences on a breakfast run. The IBW Chai and Pakoda Rides are organized in cities around India, bringing together passionate riders from each location, for a one-way ride to a pre-informed destination. It is a morning to remember, roads to sit back and roll out on, and a chance to meet your city’s maddest riders, best bikes and exchange tales over Chai.
The event was organized at a venue called Motel Sunny in Jamb on National Highway No 7, which is approximately 70 kilometers from the city, where all Biker Clubs, Super-sport bikes, vintage bikes, super-sport cars, vintage jeeps and many more were present in large numbers.
The organizers conducted a few competitions like Best Riding Group, Loudest Exhaust etc. All the enthusiast and passionate bikers / riders from Nagpur, Chandrapur, Wardha sharing the brotherhood and same passion were gathered to make event joyful and successful. The organizers proudly claimed that they even had some riders all the way from Yavatmal and some other locations.
Some well known biking clubs like OCR (Orange City Riders), Warbulls, Thumping Tigers, Marchin Hammers, YRC(Yamaha Riders Club), ZMRC (Zero Mile Riding Club), CONS(Club of Nagpur Superbikes), XBHP, CRC(Chandrapur Riding Club), HOGs (Harley Owners Group) Nagpur made their presence felt.
The event was organized in association with DON (Dukes of Nagpur) Club for Nagpur region.
