IAS officer Radheshyam Mopalwar suspended over corruption charges

IAS officer Radheshyam Mopalwar has been suspended from his post as Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) chairman on Thursday. The decision was taken just a day after ruckus in State Legislature over corruption charges on him.

Leader of Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil quoted from the news report in the House and demanded the immediate ouster of the officer.

Former CM Prithviraj Chavan demanded a judicial inquiry against the officer. The Assembly had to be adjourned thrice before 12 noon.
