New Delhi: AAP’s Kumar Vishwas on being excluded from the party’s Rajya Sabha nominations: “Maine jo-jo sach bola aaj uska pururskar dand swaroop mujhe diya gaya. I have been rewarded for the truth. Arvind ne mujhe muskurate huye kaha tha ke ‘sir-ji aapko marenge par shaheed nahi hone denge’. Arvind (Kejriwal) had smiled and told me, I will hit you, but won’t let you be a martyr’. Main unko badhai deta hu ke main apni shahadat sweekar karta hu. I congratulate him and accept my martyrdom.”
The Aam Aadmi Party today nominated Sanjay Singh, Sushil Gupta and N D Gupta as its Rajya Sabha nominees. While Singh has been associated with the party since its inception, Sushil Gupta is a Delhi-based businessman and N D Gupta a chartered accountant. The decision was taken at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in a meeting attended by around 56 party.
