Nagpur: Panic briefly gripped a construction site in Wanadongri on Monday morning after workers came across a huge python during ongoing construction work.
The incident took place around 10 am when the workers suddenly spotted the large snake at the site. Alarmed by the sight, local residents immediately alerted snake rescuers.

Responding swiftly to the call, snake rescuers Amit Uke and Akash Meshrem reached the spot and carefully secured the reptile. After examining the snake, they identified it as a python.
The rescuers then safely removed the python from the construction site and later released it into its natural forest habitat.
The successful rescue brought relief to residents and workers in the area, who appreciated the prompt response of the snake rescuers.
The incident also highlighted the importance of immediately informing trained rescuers whenever snakes or other wildlife are spotted in residential or construction areas. Timely intervention helped ensure that the reptile was rescued safely and returned to its natural habitat without harm.
