Nagpur: Gold ornaments and cash collectively worth Rs 1.23 lakh were stolen from a house in Imambada police station area, police said.
According to police, Shubhangi Pramod Meshram (40), a resident of Plot No. 407, Chandan Nagar, had gone to her parents’ house on Friday evening.

Grabbing the opportunity, the thief entered the house after breaking open the latch of the front door and decamped with ornaments and Rs 10,000 in cash.
A case under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code was registered by Imambada police after lodging complaint by Meshram.
