House-breaking in Trimurtinagar, valuables of Rs 1,20,000 stolen

Going out and keeping the house locked proved costly for a woman in the jurisdiction of Pratapnagar police station.

The complainant, Vandana Vijay Fulzele,48, plot no. A/13, HIG Colony, Trimurtinagar, Nagpur had locked her house and had gone to stay with her mother, at  Narendranagar, between July 19, 19-30 to July 21, 14 hours, without least realising what was in store for her. Some miscreants taking advantage of her absence broke open the lock and made good with silver, gold ornaments and Sony camera, collectively valued at Rs 1,20,000/

On the report of the complainant, police sub-inspector, Jafar Sheikh of Pratapnagar police station has registered offence under sections 454, 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.
