Holy Bhagwan Buddha Asthi Kalash reaches Nagpur from Sri Lanka

Nagpur: The Holy Asthi Kalash of Bhagwan Buddha arrived in Nagpur on Wednesday to mark 125th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The Asthi Kalash first came to Mumbai from Sri Lanka and from there it arrived at Nagpur’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at 7 am on Wednesday. A delegation of Sri Lanka handed over the Holy Bhagwan Buddha Asthi Kalash to the Mayor Pravin Datke. The Mayor paid humble tributes to the Asthi Kalash on behalf of the city with a garland of roses.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion include Maharashtra Minister for Social Welfare Rajkumar Badole, Rajya Sabha Member Ramdas Athawale, MLC Prakash Gajbhiye, MLA Dr Milind Mane, former Minister Sulekha Kumbhare, Corporator Sanjay Bonde, President of Bharatiya Boudha Mahasabha Chandrabodhi Patil, former Leader of Opposition in NMC Raju Bahadure, NMC Public Relations Officer Ashok Kolhatkar, and other prominent citizens.

A procession of the Holy Bhagwan Buddha Asthi Kalash was taken out on the occasion which was participated the Mayor Datke and other prominent personalities.
