Nagpur: A successful Hindi workshop was organized at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) on Friday,17th October 2025 with the aim of promoting Hindi as the Official Language (Rajbhasha).
In this workshop, held in the Senate Hall, VNIT staff were guided on the topic “Principles/Policy of Translation in Official Language Hindi: Practical and Simple Methods” by Dr. Anwar Ahmad Siddiqui, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Translation Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha. The President of the function and the Institute’s Director-in-Charge, Prof. Gyanprakash Singh, honored the guest speaker with a plant, a memento, and a book.
Also prominently present on this occasion were the Registrar and Nodal Officer of the Hindi Implementation Committee, Shri Sachin Jagdale, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Hindi, Shri Satyendra Prasad Singh, Dr P Kulkarni and Dr K joglekar.
A large number of VNIT staff benefited from the workshop.
The program was conducted by the Executive Secretary of the Hindi Committee, Dr. Bharti Polke, and the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Archana Tiwari. The introduction of the guest speaker was presented by Smt. Samiksha Alat.
Dr. Ashish Pradhane, Rakesh Vishwakarma, Poonam Uike, and others actively cooperated in organizing this Hindi workshop.
