Nagpur News : Chandrashekhar Diyewar, brother of Hemant Diyewar, late vice president of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha who was shot dead last year, alleged extortion charges against his brother’s murderers. He claimed that the main accused Sheikhu alias Gulnawaz Khan Ejaz Khan has been threatening him of dire consequences and have demanded cash Rs 20 lakhs.

Hemant Diyewar was shot dead at Shankar Nagar Square on February 24.

Diyewar, 39, a resident of Subhash Nagar, own a travel and tour office. He the eye-witness in the murder case and thus Khan has been threatening him of dire consequences not to give nay statement in the murder case.

He told police that Khan and his partners in crime had called him five times from different numbers and have demanded extortion of Rs 20 lakhs. Diyewar alleged hat he has been suffering from the torture from March 8 till he report the matter to police on Saturday.

“Diyewar told that he was never attacked by anybody but he is getting threatening calls from different numbers. The caller introduced himself as Khan, who had killed Hemant and demand Rs 20 lakhs and to take step back from giving statement in the court,” told police. Cops informed that Ambazari police had arrested Khan after four days of murder.
