Nagpur: As the monsoon prepares to retreat, heavy rainfall has been lashing Nagpur and parts of Vidarbha since this morning. The Meteorological Department has predicted that most areas in Nagpur and Vidarbha are likely to receive significant rainfall over the next three to four days.
The downpour that began on Tuesday morning has brought relief to Nagpur residents from the ongoing heat.

Vidarbha has already received above-average rainfall this year, with July and August seeing particularly heavy showers. Although the monsoon is set to withdraw soon, it has restarted in Vidarbha and several other states.
In some districts of Vidarbha, continuous heavy rain is causing rivers and streams to overflow, leading to concerns about potential flooding in low-lying areas. Authorities have issued an alert to ensure preparedness for the coming days.
