Nagpur: Citizens of various areas of Prabhag 35 comprising Pardi, Dhanlaxmi Nagar, Rambhumi Society, Sundar Nagar, Swagat Nagar, Bhole Nagar, Ambenagar, Bansinagar, Kshamata Nagar, Maroti Society, Rani sati Nagar, and many more areas will take out a morch to Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) on August 10 to highlight various problems being faced by them.
The morach will be led by the Prabhag Corporator Purshottam Hazare. The morcha will also be taken out to Nagpur Municipal Corporation on the same day. A delegation of morchaites will meet the NIT Chairman and Municipal Commissioner and submit memorandum to them demanding resolution of the problems.
The areas of Prabhag are besieged with various problems main being the roads are riddled with potholes, stagnant pools of rain water, overflowing sewage water causing stinking smell and posing health hazards to citizens etc. Citizens as well as school students are being put to lot of hardships due to pathetic condition of roads, stagnant water and overflowing sewage water, a press release issued by the Prabhag-35 Corporator Purshottam Hazare said.
The citizens who will participate in morcha include Nitin Bante, Pradeep Shende, Jawahar Patle, Mohan Waghaye, Vijay Tomar, Ashok Pardhi, Shendre Mama, Bandu Shendre, Gani Khan, Marathe Tai, Nagpure Tai, Salma Pathan, Parma Shahu, Mayatai Gajbhiye, Sita Gaekwad, Anita Gaekwad, Manisha Dongarwad, Geeta Dosewan, Gangabai Dadure, Vithabai Shrivas, Durga Uppalwar, Panchsheela Kamble, Anita Gajbhiye, Meena Sharma, Dhunia Khere, Sagarta Gaurkhede, Anita Masrame, Mangala Bawankule, Annabai Sanodia, Sangita Meshram, Meena Tehre, Ramesh Bhalekar, Duryodhan Suryavanshi, Chhotubhai, and many other citizens.
