Nagpur: In bizzare incident that took place on Monday night, an orchestra singer performing at Hotel Skylark, situated in Central avenue suffered a bullet injury at 11 pm.
Police sources informed that the accused bouncer Ramzaan clashed with the orchestra singer Vivek Jain performing on the sheesha bar stage in the hotel. Both got into quarrel and afterwards went into the kitchen of the hotel.
Sources informed, during the quarrel in the hotel, Ramzan fired bullets at Vivek Jain. This created a panic in the hotel, meanwhile Jain was rushed to Mayo hospital by some people. The accused sped away from the spot after the incident.
DCP Abhinash Kumar reached the spot. The police interrogated the hotel staff and customers at the hotel. Till the late night at filing of the report, the condition of Jain was critical. Injured Vivek Jain in hospital.
