Group Captain L K Jain has been appointed as the Group Commander of Nagpur NCC Headquarters (National Cadet Corps). Jain took the charge from Group Captain Mahesh Upasani who is proceeding for Higher Air Command Course to College of Air Warfare, Secunderabad.
Group Captain Jain is a graduate from NDA (National Defence Academy) with BSc from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has also completed his Masters in Strategic Management from CDM, Secunderabad. Commissioned in 1990, Gp Capt Jain is a qualified navigation instructor with more than 4500 hours of flying experience on Canberra, Avro and IL-76 aircraft. He has also taken part in International Military Exercises in UK and Russia. Gp Capt Jain has had the honor of Commanding a Missile Squadron in J&K and an Air Force Station in Maharashtra.
