Chennai: Considered a close ally of ‘Chinnamma’ Sasikala till yesterday, Education Minister in Jaya’s cabinet Pandiarajan has crossed over to the side of ‘acting C.M.’ O.Pannerselvam.
Announcing his decision, he tweeted;

Pandiarajan is not just any MLA or an ordinary Minister. He was a former Professor and is an Eisenhower Scholar.
Earlier MLA Shanmuganathan after being part of Sasikala’s entourage of MLAs being herded away to unknown destination had slipped away claiming ill health and joined OPS rebellion at his home.
There have been many reports since that there could be many MLAs being held against their will. Police teams were being sent to the sea side resorts this morning to check situation.
In these uncertain circumstances when control over MLAs getting tenuous and public outpouring of support for OPS increasing, Sasikala is said to be getting nervous and impatient.
She is reported to have sent a note to Governor, requesting him for a quick decision, ” in the interest of Tamil nadu”.
The Governor is biding his time and seems to be in a mood to wait till next week for the SC decision.
