Nagpur: Green Vigil Foundation, an NGO working in the field of Environment Protection and Sustainable Development honored with Vidarbha Bhushan Award 2015 for the organization’s exemplary work and significant contribution in the environmental domain for a self – sustained and pollution free planet for the future generations .
The ceremony was organized by Yashvant Bharati Lokkalyan Sanstha, Nagpur, wherein Dr. Milind Mane , MLA and Mr. Sudhakarji Kohale, MLA were the Chief Guests. Padmashri Dr. Vikas Mahatme , Social Worker, Mr. Umeshji Chaube were prominently present on dais.
While receiving the award, Kaustav Chatterjee, Co-Founder, Green Vigil Foundation quipped with ecstasy, there’s no greater privilege than receiving an award from the society you have been serving for, getting it from them says it all, the sense of belongingness and contentment, inspires us to go ahead with passionate efforts to bring in the change.
