Govt says reports on AI bid incorrect

The GoI’s Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, says media reports indicating approval of financial bids by the Government of India in the Air India disinvestment case are incorrect.

Media will be informed of the government decision as and when it is taken.

The statement is with reference to reports this morning that Tata Sons Pvt. is set to take over ailing Air India Ltd. again.
