A couple of unidentified goons made forced entry into a house at Bhonsale Wadi and attacked the elderly woman there. Pachpaoli police.said Deepti Ramendra Prasad (55) was found severely injured at the kitchen of her residence on Tuesday. The shocked and scared old lady was later taken to Wockhardt Hospital for treatment. Deepti, in her statement to police, said that some unknown goons barged into her house on Tuesday evening and attacked her with sharp-edged weapons. Deepti has sustained serious injuries on head. However, police could not trace the identities of the goons but they have assured Deepti to nab the culprits at the earliest.
Meanwhile, cops suspect that monetary issues could be the reason behind this deadly attack. However, nothing is confirmed yet. On the basis of the complaint lodged by Deepti’s son Ashish, Pachpaoli police have registered an offence under Sections 307 of the IPC and commenced with their investigations.
